I'm Growing Hydrangeas!
Trisha Too asks, "what are you growing in your garden, on your sewing table, kitchen or scraproom?" She posted What's Growing Friday with photos from her backyard and is trying out the link tool. I am happy to report that the Hydrangeas I planted last year have finally taken root and are thriving. I have tried for 10 years to get them to grow in our clay soil. Some of the blooms are 7 to 10 inches across! There are enough of them to bring some inside while leaving others to decorate the garden. :)

What a fabulous colour hydrangea. I've got one in a pot and I can't even see the buds yet (and it's only a blue one).

gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing--I've never seen hydrangeas that color! We have one bush, and it looks healthy, but you never know if it's actually going to bloom or not!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing what's growing at your place this weekend!
:)
What a beautiful colour, they're one of my favorite plants.

ReplyDeleteI had those in blue once, but they did not make it. I love them but have hard time getting them to live. Yours absolutely gorgeous in that rich, bright pink.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the gardening and the photo! Happy Memorial Day my friend!
