Happy New Year!
It feels like only yesterday it was turning 2000. Remember all the hoopla surrounding that new year? Here at our house the Paper Whites are blooming to ring in 2014.
Our Camellias look lovely too! We have two shades of pink blooming on the east side of our yard.
New kitty is enjoying his play tunnel. With all his energy he needs something to occupy him when Mama is doing other things - like making cards.
I'm working on some holiday thank you cards using old and new supplies. I layered card stock and embossed paper, and inked the edges on this one. Quick and simple.
I played in my craft room late into the afternoon and managed to make several cards. This one has a vintage feel. I used a hand made flower a friend sent to me, as well as a piece of sewing pattern.
Well, today we will be eating our Wishing Grapes. I wrote about our tradition here. Do you have a special tradition or food you prepare for New Year's Day? Whatever you do, I hope you have a lovely day!
