Who'd a Thunk it?
I just discovered these Mr. Clean Magic Erasers take ink off my acrylic blocks after stamping! Woohoo! I tried an ink remover that I use to clean my clear stamps, but it did not remove all the ink from the blocks. Guess what? This little sponge does! They also work great on grout & appliances...if you are so inclined to do housework! They cost about $1 apiece. I tried Target's version of the Magic Eraser and they worked great too.

Cool idea! I've just been using liquid hand soap to clean the block.
ReplyDeletethanks for the tip! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI love these things!
ReplyDeleteGreat tip. I use them for so many other things. I bet they would work on some of my sealed wood block stamps too!
ReplyDeleteI love magic erasers!!! I use them on everything...they do not remove the black residue from our remote that was left on three spots on the wall of our living room (my husband decided he would get the attention of our cat that likes to use our couch as a scratching post...so instead of yelling at her, he threw the remote and now we have 3 small gashes in the wall...ugh!!!)
ReplyDeleteI too love those things! I used one to take wax off a plaster textured wall - the glass sconce holder exploded and wax went everywhere! TFS
