The Color Pink Represents~
Unconditional love: Pink relates to both unconditional love and romantic love.
Compassion: Empathy and understanding are the fuel for pink's nurturing.
Nurturing: Pink is both the giving and the receiving of love, understanding and respect.
Hope: Pink inspires the possibility of a positive outcome.
Effects of the Color Pink:
Calming: Pink calms our emotional energies.
Non-threatening: Pink lacks any aggression or anger, although the deeper pinks can be more assertive and confident.
Affectionate: Pink offers warmth and tenderness to friends and family.
Caring: Sensitivity and tender loving care relate to pink's feminine and intuitive energies.
With this in mind, it's no wonder baby items are pink! A friend just became a grandmother for the first time so I decided to make a card for her. Her new grandchild is a girl so I got out some lace and ribbon and went to work.
I used the Stretch Your Imagination Cricut cartridge to cut out the pram, and the Storybook cartridge to cut both oblong frames. The pink dotted embossed paper was edge punched and inked. I constantly reach for my Music Score stamp... it adds just the right touch behind the floral pram! I added ribbon, lace and a stamped sentiment. The final touch was adding the tiny paper rose. Hope she likes it!
We both have quite a variety of tea cups and mugs, and did not even realize there were now 3 cat themed cups and they were all mainly pink! Here they are above, and I bet you can guess which one Miss R uses when she is really in the mood for a cuppa!! She saves the smaller ones for a comforting cup of chamomile before bed~
Have a great weekend! I'm sharing this with~

Isaiah 41:10 is one of my favorite verses. It always picks me up when I need it.
Some sweet card! And the surprise about the mugs made me laugh. I tend to ignore all the various mugs that get stuffed into the cupboard until I need more room. Then I am amazed at the variety - and they arent all as cute as these!
