Cardinal & Grey~

Exciting news! My daughter has been acccepted to Chapman University as a first year transfer student!! She will depart UCI and begin classes at Chapman in January~
We are so excited for her. I already bought a Chapman sweatshirt to wear this winter to let everybody know how proud I am of her accomplishment!

We have an annual tradition which started when she was young; the 'Great Pumpkin' visits after she goes to bed on Halloween night and takes most of her trick or treat candy. She does get to keep some of her favs, though! That smart fellow donates the candy to the military along with holiday cards. In return, he leaves her a small gift which she finds on November 1st when she awakens. This morning she found a gift and a little stuffed skeleton waiting for her where the candy had been.

Shhh! Don't tell, but I actually made the skeleton from felt. Somehow, a Chapman penant ended up next to the skeleton..lol~

Several movies have used the Chapman campus in their scenes, most notably Crimson Tide...recognize the building below?

Special times ahead. Chapman is a fabulous school~ Congratulations, sweetheart! Go Panthers!!
