Oh honey
Picture me upon your knee,
With tea for two and two for tea,
Just me for you and you for me, alone!
Nobody near us, to see us or hear us,
No friends or relations
on weekend vacations
We won't have it known, dear,
That we own a telephone, dear.
Day will break and I'm gonna wake
and start to bake a sugar cake
for you to take for all the boys to see.
We will raise a family,
a boy for you , and a girl for me,
Can't you see how happy we will be.
Picture me upon your knee,
With tea for two and two for tea,
Just me for you and you for me, alone!
Nobody near us, to see us or hear us,

I never knew the full lyrics to this sweet song by Youmans and Caesar ~~ other than the most famous lines~~ so I looked them up to share with you. This song debuted in the musical comedy called No, No, Nanette which became a hit in the mid 1920's.
With this as inspiration, I decided to make a cheery greeting card...and just had to make two pockets to hold tea!
- The dotted paper measured 11" x 6"; I creased it 4" in from each end, which left a 3" uncreased section in the center.
- I made a crease in the center of the 3" section, then folded it like an upside down 'v' (new crease was 1.5" from from the 4" crease).
- Next, I punched a half circle on the center crease in two places...these are where the tea bags will sit.
- I pressed the folded/punched section back against the upper 4" dotted portion, leaving the other 4" dotted portion flat/open. I sewed around the perimeter of the dotted paper.
- Glue dotted paper to red Webster paper, then glue to the inside of a blank card.
