June

Since children will be looking for summer activities soon, I think this printable Fairy Home  would be so fun to have ready and waiting! I know College Girl would have spent hours playing with something like this when she was in elementary school. It would be great to have this charming fairy abode already printed, as well as a few odds and ends for decor and accessories; pipe cleaners, fun foam, thread spools, silk flowers, a doll's tea set, and buttons are among the things I'd stash in a ziploc baggie to go with house!

Here is another timely freebie~ Go to Catch My Party
to download the Father's Day printables. There is a banner, card, water bottle labels and more.

College Girl and I went to see The Avengers again today! Hubby found a free movie ticket offer and we could not resist. It was just as good this time aroundWe are enjoying the out-of-school schedule change, and taking advantage of visiting the movie theater before the public schools let out for summer break later this month. As far as crafting, I finished a scrapbook page a few days ago and am working on another one already. This page celebrates my daughter's graduation day~

I took this photo outside, so pardon the shadows. For this page I used
  • Martha Stewart edge punch
  • micro beads on the butterfly
  • Tim Holtz ornate plate and film strip
  • Core dinations Vanilla card stock
  • pearl butterfly pin
  • clear pocket holds dried flowers from my daughter's lei
  • hand and machine sewing
  • Platinum Liquid Pearls
Evoluer is French and means to change, grow, develop, evolve. College Girl chose it as her word for her last year of high school, and we had it inscribed in a ring with her birthstone.

The butterflies went perfect with this theme. It was also fun to use scrapbook paper that has the name of her high school on it.

We are proud of the steady dedication and hard work our daughter put into all four years, and look forward to her next graduation in 2015.
