It's been more than three weeks since I've been in my Scrap Room and almost that long since I've been upstairs because of my leg! I limped my way up the stairs today to make two cards using my new Terrye French Sheep With Flower Basket stamp (#106), and it was worth it. I had fun!

I design cards for Treasured Times Rubber Stamps |
I used:
- Kathy Davis Journeys card stock. It's gorgeous! There are a variety of pretty blue and green prints and some sparkly dragonflies.
- small doily
- Spellbinders & Cuttlebug to cut solid green mat
- Terrye French Sheep with Flower Basket stamp
- ribbon, ink, corner punch, foam adhesive
I made a second card with the stamp and went with a completely different color scheme.
On this card I used:
- Cuttlebug and embossing folder, sand paper
- bakery string
- doily
- Liquid Pearls, yellow
- Maya Road Star pin
- blue paper flowers, yellow ribbon rose
- Ranger black Archival Ink, yellow glitter
How charming to drink your morning cuppa from this whimsical sheep cup made by Highland Stoneware
in Scotland. It holds 8.5 ounces and is safe for the dishwasher, freezer and oven!
Did you pull any April Fool's pranks on Monday? College Girl replaced Handyman's daily cereal with dry cat food - she poured his cereal into another container and replaced it with kitty chow! He gets up at the crack of dawn everyday and always has a small bowl of his favorite cereal. Isn't she a rat?! Ha Ha! She placed a note in the fridge, under the milk, regarding the whereabouts of his actual cereal. He recognized kitty's dry food and didn't eat any and College Girl had some 'splaining to do' when she got up later in the morning! I awoke when she did and could not help laughing when Handyman gave me a wry look!

Good morning Shawn,
ReplyDeleteApril Fool's jokes are so much fun, aren't they? I enjoy getting my hubby every year. I did the cereal one on him a couple of years ago using bird seed. :)
Your cards are really cute and so is the cup! I'm glad you were able to limp your way to the Scrap Room. I've been doing my fair share of limping too since January and finally can walk without a walker. Whew!
Thank you for coming to tea and sharing your delightful post with us.
Blessings,
Sandi
